Job Description

    • As member of the R2R Accounting Management team, lead all system changes/ process changes which require R2R participation to ensure that the group reporting numbers are accurate and contribute to the overall R2R Strategy of India and Africa.
    • Supporting the Finance transformation programme to drive sustainable solutions and process improvements and standardization.
    • Providing support to the Aspire program and implementing actions as per the program schedule.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure impact on business performance outcomes is managed due to change in upstream or downstream processes and system.
    • To monitor and ensure all TP feeds are interfaced, consistent COA used at consolidation and check various ledgers within the GL infra are in sync and multiple systems within the finance infra like PSGL /S4 aligned.
    • Manage multiple stakeholders including business units, technology, service delivery.
    • Ensure Organisation prescribed Change / Project Management methodologies / processes including the value behaviours are adhered to.
    • Strong domain content and build best practice (Business Analysis and Project / Change Management). Review and carry out UAT on behalf of the Business Users in respect of the configuration and / or development implemented by Aspire Change / S4.
    • Responsible for solutions to change requests received from Business Users for SAP components, namely FSDP, FPSL, and associated Reconciliations and Controls.
    • The role is also expected to proactively drive improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the global process, whilst maintaining the highest levels of governance and controls.
    • Ensure a stronger collaboration across various GFS units.

    • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism, with the intent to do the right thing at all times.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Preferably Chartered accountant / ICMA or Commerce Graduate.
    • 15 years work experience in Financial Accounting, Reporting and a reasonably good, technical Accounting experience.
    • Knowledge of Finance policies, procedures and processes and how to deliver and support managers in effectively managing their teams
    • Knowledge of and prior experience in working on the relevant platforms is an advantage (Micro strategy, Hyperion Essbase, HFM, PSGL, Oracle, SQL, ETL, Data warehouse, BIG Data, OBIEE).
