Job Description

  • Experience in VMWare monitoring troubleshooting i e ESX host up down storage monitoring and remediation on datastores snapshot monitoring and cleanups provisioning of storage Implement maintain ESX patch cycles per the schedule established and managed by Customer managers Infrastructure support for application deployments
  • Experience with troubleshoot AD services i e replication issues Domain Naming System DNS Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol DHCP
  • Provide VEEAM support define backup schedules review monitoring and correct backup issues perform restores
  • Additional storage allocations from Storage Area Network SAN for physical VMWare environments working with managed service provider
  • Adhere to Change Control process and related tasks Log CRs develop and execute test plans documentation change implementation
  • Take necessary remediation and system management actions for Logical Unit Number LUN Volume Aggregate storage alarms engaging managed service provider when necessary
  • Identify plan and lead projects and tasks necessary to assess enhance manage and maintain enterprise and Customer systems and infrastructure
Primary Skills
  • Expertise on VMWare ESX
  • Should have experience on storage maintain ESX patch cycles per the schedule

  • Review revise and update monitoring thresholds and alerts to enable infrastructure stability
