Job Description

    Startup/Fintech/E-Com experience mandatory Responsibilities: - Lead, manage and mentor a team of engineers and related personnel.- Recruit and develop top engineering talent.- Develop standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.- Extensive engineering expertise in the areas of developing and maintaining financial service software products.- Maintain and optimize budgets to meet goals.- Understand and collaborate on complete product lifecycle (Financial Service Software Product) from concept to execution, working closely with Product team (Financial Service Product offering to customers).- Recommends new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency of SDLC.- Build, develops and manages engineering team capable of carrying out initiatives.- Tracking, analysing and monitoring technology performance metrics, and own the software product roadmap.- Identify outsourcing opportunity and outsourcing vendor. This could be staffing partner or entire software product developing partner- Communicating technology strategy to leadership, employees, and investors.- Understanding of Fintech and Fintech Lending a definite plus.- Implement long term technology vision for team.- Active participant in technology forums and represent company in external forums.- Driving in-house app development and maximize acquisition, engagement and monetization from app users.- Design short, mid and long-term strategies for product development that are in sync with the Chief Product Officer & Co-Founders vision for the organization.- Provide direction to the team & personally drive efforts to ensure targets for the department are met consistently.- Provide professional guidance, support & training to direct reporting in team members.- Hire, train and retain skilled resources for IT team.- Design Information system security and usage policies and ensure compliances.- Conduct periodic system audits and take measures to mitigate the risks identified during audits Qualification & Experience Required: - Seasoned in technology engineering professional. Retail lending and BFSI past experience preferred.- Ideal fit would be a 10-12+ years Ex-Technical Founder, Founding Engineering Member, Technical Leader who has evolved through various levels in providing technical leadership for high performance teams.- Build robust, scalable, highly available and reliable systems using Micro Services Architecture based on Java, Spring boot, Python, Django, Angular.- Improve Engineering and Operational Excellence by identifying and building the right solutions for observability and manageability.- Keep the tech stack current with the goal to optimize for scale, cost and performance.- Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.- Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.- Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.- Ideally mix of new age startups, product and Fintech experience.- Should have developed and scaled tech products in past roles at a fast pace.- BTech/MTech/IIT/PhD from Premium college pedigree must have.- Experience with Python, Django, or data science toolkits (pandas, scikit, sparkML) is a plus.- Highly Innovative problem solver, possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational & project planning skills and demonstrating ability to meet deadlines.- Good networking skills.- Excellent communication skills.- Excellent skills to analyse available business opportunity.,
