Job Description

A leading crop inputs company is looking for a VP Sales & Marketing International Business for managing its global marketing & sales. The ideal candidate will have an experience of at least 20+ years country-wide in marketing and sales of agrochemical formulations.Position Overview The key deliverable for this role is to head the specialized formulation brand business globally. The role entails thought leadership across product categories. To drive the sales & marketing function of the division to achieve top line and bottom-line targets of the division with healthy Sales to Expense ratio. To be able to develop a market for new & specialized formulation registered globally.Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Create & Monitor Sales & Marketing Plan to meet divisional goals in terms of top line and bottom-line for value added formulations.
  • He will be handling the marketing and product development strategy - Launching new products, Working on consumer feedback, End to end brand planning including crafting the brand vision & strategic objective. Inturn having a product pull for specialized formulations registered globally.
  • Strategic planning and implementation of Marketing initiatives for promoting SMLs platform technology and specialized formulations market specific.
  • Define Analyse and Monitor External indicators periodically to retain competitive position in the market place. Identify new formulations required to introduce market specific with SMLs formulation technology.
  • Guide and drive key promotional / therapy campaigns to enable achievement of divisional objectives
  • and maintain customer connect for division so as to seek increased sales.
  • Propose product pipeline to General Managers, Senior Managers, Area Managers for building future portfolio of the division globally.
  • Manage cross function relationships with R&D/ Portfolio Team/ Packaging Team / Planning & Sourcing Team to get optimal outcomes.
  • Provide business cases for new product proposals and ensure viability and success.
  • Train and develop global sales and marketing team
  • Should be having a pleasing personality & flexible attitude of working with multicultural people and creating a motivational environment for more.

Qualification
  • The incumbent should have more than 20+ years of strong marketing and sales & global distribution experience, preferably from Agrochemical industry.
  • Good analytical / conceptual / logical skills / Brand Management Exposure
  • Good Market Connect / Ability to draw customer engagement plans
  • Good Emotional Quotient/ Man Management experience
  • Technically sound and strong in marketing
  • Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office / SAP preferred
  • Fluent in English, and if any additional foreign language (German, Spanish, French, Portuguese etc.,)
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire for continued growth and learning
