Job Description

    The role is market facing and the successful candidate will work to develop, expand, and maintain a positive long-term, high impact, value-adding and trusted relationship with the client and its executives across Banks, priorities will be setting strategy, identifying key target segments and connecting executives as well as executing on the strategy, closing deals, building the sales pipeline and delivering on your targetsKey Responsibility Areas1 Impact on the Business / FunctionManage the Sales service proposition for Bancassurance Channel Partner & the JV Regional HeadsDevelop and maintain a sales pipeline capable of production in new group salesProspect for new business opportunities via cold calling, canvassing, developing relationships with centers of influence and attendance at national and regional association meetings and conferencesLead presentation team on all finalist presentations for new business within your territoryAttend internal and external national and regional association meetings, consultant meetings, and brokerage firm meetings for the purpose of deepening relationships with existing clients and expanding relationships with prospective clientsTypical Targets and MeasuresInternal liaising with various functions (Training/UW/P& Team etc.) with regards to resolution of specific issues highlighted by RHs and channel partner.Publishing COMMISSION related, reports, Licensing Hierarchy Dashboards and MIS (daily | weekly | monthly)Ensure that ALL queries && complaints raised (both verbal and written), are replied to within 24 hours (including holding reply). Ensure 100% complaints are recorded and relayed to the respective Regional Heads and resolved within 4 working days.Work towards achieving TATs as laid down by Choice. Ensure that non-adherence to TATs are escalated and arrive at suitable solution.Support Zonal/Regional Heads in delivering higher levels of customer delight by facilitating the process of Timely accurate MIS within mutually agreed timelinesImprove completeness of data provided to Channel Partner at all times including that of Hierarchy mapping/Commission Reports/Sales MIS/Contest MIS etc.2 Customers / Stakeholders1.Enhance Customer Convenience and Improve Customer Service experience2.Ensure Implementation & monitoring of relevant data analyticsTypical Targets and MeasuresSuggest and implement changes / new ideas and share best practices to improve business processes / TATs / Completeness of data.Liaise with IT & Operations with regards to system enhancements in line with HSBC requests && RH feedback received from time-to-time.Keep self-updated on all new and existing Sales Process, and Compliance guidelines of both Choice Banks.Pro-actively come up with newer ideas to create data tables that would assist frontline && also create an internal competitive environment amongst all concerned in Sales through effective data analytics on an ongoing basis3 Leadership & Teamwork Industry and Client Understanding - Brings a thorough knowledge of the client, its industries and culture. Understands the client & key challenges, initiatives and strategic direction. Educates and shares knowledge with the client lead partner and team to identify areas of opportunity for CLIENTOrigination - Responsible for the development of senior client relationships from scratch4 Operational Effectiveness & ControlLead financial modeling of ALM, liability reserves and various capital frameworks for RIS strategic initiativesCollaborate with the head of the market intelligence team to provide insights on the market and competitive landscapeLead efforts to enhance existing product design and pricing methodology to improve competitiveness, and identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve financials for RIS businessesCommunicate results to business partners and senior management Provide leadership in internal and external reinsurance initiatives
