Job Description

    *Roles and Responsibility Business
    • Preparation of Monthly Pipeline and IFRS P&L Reports and timely submission of the same to Group.
    • Monthly MIS for EXCO alongwith commentary of variances
    • Preparation and analysing monthly unitwise cost variances
    • Preparation of budgets/forecasts and timely submission of the same
    • Preparation of Cost and Revenue Projections along with the Metrics
    • Preparation of Branch Profitability report
    • Providing inputs for Board presentation and other business Presentation to Management
    Processes
    • Monitoring advances & provisions of Head Office & Branches
    • Timely follow up of Outstanding provisions and ensuring timely settlement/closure
    • Month end accruals including Project Capex/Opex accruals
    • Perform the function of RP for the Finance Unit and accordingly responsible for conducting the KRI,
    KCS and CST checks
    • Authorising banking transactions
    • Assisting IT department and Property department in analysing costs and preparing IT and Property cost budgets.
    • Providing accounting and tax inputs on PPGs/CAs within the stipulated timeframe.
    • Checking the FLIP calculations on sample basis

    • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.     • Lead the SCSI Finance team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    • SEBI/Stock Exchanges prescribed responsibilities and Rationale for allocation].

    • Business Heads of various units, Regional Heads, Branch Heads, Business/Country Finance of Bank
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Qualification: Preferably CA or MBA with 4-5 years experience in Finance & Accounts functions
    • Skills: Intelligent, hard working, good communication skills, positive attitude and taking initiative, Good managerial skills
    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and any accounting software like PSGL/TALLY
    • Knowledge: IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards
