WEB DESIGNER / WEBMASTERALLENDEVAUX & COMPANY is hiring a highly experienced web designer to maintain and evolve the corporate website which is currently architected using Wix. You will be the owner of the websites integrity and overall composition, ensuring its upkeep and technical integrity. You should command an excellent understanding of graphic design, website design and development, mastering Adobe products and other compatible tools.You should be a meticulous designer, both visually and technically, understanding both front-end and back-end development aspects. The best candidate will have a portfolio of past work to showcase that will demonstrate creativity, graphic expression, animation, developmental prowess, and end-to-end functionality.The position will report directly to the chief marketing officer.Work Location

Due to the pandemic, the offices have been closed. This is a remote role supported by daily meeting participation over videoconference, but the office locations will be re-opening in Mumbai near Mumbai University. Until the offices re-open, candidates must have a reliable Internet connection and an office from which to attend video meetings with customers and colleagues.Compensation Package and DetailsThis opportunity pays an annual salary of exactly 6,40,000 for the qualified candidate; salary payments are monthly. Do not apply if this salary is unacceptable. Signing bonus: 50,000 at time of contract signatory. Paid-time-off (PTO) is four weeks and can be spent for any purpose such as national or religious holidays, vacation, sick leave, etc. Bonus payments may be made based on new business being generated from marketing efforts that fill the pipeline and result in revenue booked by the sales department.This position is a fulltime consultative role, meaning the candidate is responsible for local, state and national tax payments and filings. The candidate for this job may need to work during United Kingdom working hours, as the companys leadership is located in that region.Job ResponsibilitiesWill have the following duties and responsibilities in this role:
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS, XML and Wix practices, understanding PHP and CMS.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) with knowledge of SQL.
• Should have a good understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
• Updated/ add/ contents at regular intervals on website (e.g. press releases, reports, media, and blogs)
• Creating landing pages as per requirement.
• Creating campaigns as per requirement of the team.
• Creating Html email campaign for bulker emailers is plus (MailChimp knowledge ).
• Proven experience as a webmaster or web developer.
• Knowledge of web analytics and SEO.
• Integrate updates and new postings into existing websites.
• Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website.
• Deal with and respond to heavy volumes of email.
• Optimize loading speeds and capacity
• Assist and support staff that depends on interactive content.
Competency
• Knowledge in Wix theme installation, working of plugins, solving functionality issues, working on integrations of modules.
• Good understanding of Wix, WordPress, PHP, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, MySQL, designing and developing websites.
• Good at building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
• Good in designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• You must have excellent written and clearly spoken verbal skills in English.
Education/Training/Certifications
• At least 5 years of experience in the field.
• Bachelors degree in a related field.
