Job Description

    StoryboarderAn incredibly rare opportunity for a passionate educator with preferred experience in coding to join WhiteHat Jr - Global leader in Kids 1:1 Coding Classes now and an award-winning management team. Now a part of the Byjus portfolio and targeting an immediate $1.1+ Billion market globally. The role will be multifaceted and it will provide you with an opportunity to share your expertise at a global scale with thousands of children and hundreds of educators.Roles and Responsibilities :- Design & Understand the learning objectives and overall theme of coding classes- Visual onboarding of coding concepts with a story-first approach to deliver the objectives of a class- Work closely with Illustrators to recommend additions onto existing instructional storyboards- Work closely with the SMEs to recommend potential optimisations in the curriculumQualification and Experience :- Preferred experience: 2+ years in ed-tech or an education-based organisation- Application-based understanding of activity-based teaching-learning methods with a strong knowledge of pedagogies to teach 21st Century Skills- Past experience in coding in a professional set-up would be preferred- Knowledge of concepts such as algorithms, and proficiency in coding languages such as Javascript, Python, HTML and CSS, would be an added advantage- Creative leaning, and a strong display of structured thinking- Ability to churn out quality work in a fast-paced environment- Past Experience in storyboarding or game development would be an advantageSkill Set & Competencies :- Strong instructional design skills- Go-Getter, Multi-Dimensional, Growth Hacker Skill Set with a strong sense of ownership for work- Innovative Mindset: Creative, takes informed risks and constantly improves based on feedback- Always-on learner: constantly curious, embracing and picking up new skills really fast- A team player: Can communicate and collaborate effectively with others, and buck up to face any challenges.
