We are looking for Deputy Manager Information Security Solutions Technology Team Shoppers Stop group. Dy. Manager Information Security is responsible for overseeing the operations of the companys security solutions and compliance. The person will establish an enterprise security stance through directing policy, architecture and training processes tasks will include selecting appropriate security solutions and overseeing vulnerability audits and assessments. The role requires interface with peers in the Systems and Network departments and the leaders of the business units to evangelize the corporate security vision and to facilitate information sharing and co-operation continue development of strong relationships with internal and external clients. The person will be a part of corporate team of Solutions Technology team, handling the responsibilities for various business units such as Shoppers Stop Crossword etc. For operational functional activity the organization offers a flat structure and has components of matrix or project organization. This person should be comfortable with non-hierarchical technology departments, the focus being on performance team. On a project, reporting relationships will vary based on assigned role. The entire information technology IT solution is deployed and managed from the corporate location in Mumbai, where this role will be based. The company has a track record of pioneering in the field of retail technology in India this candidate should appreciate and reflect this mindset. We have a host of packaged applications like JDA, Oracle and home-grown applications. Roles Responsibilities Define policies, processes to enhance security posture, work with internal IT teams to review application security needs. Application Security Audits. Communicate with peers in the Systems and Networking groups and the business groups to ensure enterprise wide understanding of security goals, to solicit feedback and to foster co-operation. Periodic audit of applications, network, operating systems and developing of audit reports for internal teams. Comprehend and enforce applicable laws, regulations and compliance relating to IT and Information security and privacy, working closely with other departments. Participate in internal and external statutory audits and track progress of gaps identified in internal and external audits. Create internal audit plans against set standards and practices and conduct period audit of critical infrastructure, applications and support partner engagements. Define security activities calendar, activities to be performed and track progress made by different owners and teams. Maintain current knowledge of the information security field tracks new developments in rapidly changing information technologies and implements improvements in technical security tools, especially regarding authentication, access control, audit logs, physical security, linkage control, software discipline, backup and disaster recovery, system self-assessment and the changing threat landscape. Review companys security posture, threats and risks and take appropriate action to mitigate them. Study applicable laws and standards and assess companys compliance against them, take actions to meet the requirements or laws, standards and guidelines. Requirements Around 6 years of experience in similar capacity. A fairly good grasp of business operations. Technology understanding of various security solutions. Good communication skills.
