Qualification: BE/B.Tech with Diploma in Industrial Safety from an approved institute by the Govt. of Karnataka (RLI)
The Person/ Safety Officer should be ratified by the competent authority i.e. ratified by factories inspectorate in Karnataka

Roles Responsibilities:
Timely investigation of accidents, incidents suggesting remedial measures.
Carry out training related to health, safety environment.
Ensure safety compliance in the plant.
Deliver Safety induction training Tool Box Talk or PEP Talk.
Monitoring stick compliance of permit to work system at worksite explain the importance of the same to the workforce.
Monitoring critical activities at site correct the unsafe practices on the spot.
Conducting Fire Mock Drill train the workers for the Emergency Evacuation procedure.
Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers, Sprinkler System, Hydrant System, breathing apparatus.
Monitor HSE performance, conduct safety reviews and report performance to company HSE Manager. Ensure that company safety policy, safety procedures, etc were implemented and followed. Carry out routine inspection and evaluation of work place to identify any non-conformance with safety rules, regulations and safe working practices. Auditing of Camps, Sites Documents of EPC contractor and subcontractors, Racing site observation reports and sending to EPC Management for Rectification
Regular inspections of all hot works, scaffoldings, Excavations , Rock Blasting , Tress Boring of Roads crossings/Rails crossings/Canal Crossings, Lifting, Erecting, Hydro testing. Planning, scheduling and conducting HSE meeting with HSE Officers/Supervisor of EPC contractors.
Preparing Weekly HSE Reports and Monthly Reports for HSE Manager. Inspection of Lifting Tools Tackles and Third Party Certificates. Weekly site special inspection with EPC Contractors HSE In charge. PTW Inspection (Cold Hot)
Hazard hunt technique i.e. Job Safety Analysis, Risk assessment of operation (HIRA)
The applicant should be from Karnataka and should be able to read, write and speak Kannada.
