Skill Requirements: 5 years of experience in related field is required. Clear understanding of the pedagogical issues acquired through both practical and academic experience. Ability to efficiently organize and manage assignments and projects Strong research background and understanding of current issues in the sector Demonstrated quantitative / qualitative analysis skills Knowledge of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is desirable Handle assignments with no or minimum supervision Willing to travel Should be a team player Willing to learn about the sectors , other than education Strong ability to use Office (MS / Open Source) and Internet Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Age: Less than 45 years (Preferably) Description of Duties / Responsibilities Primary: Developing project reports Analysis of the quantitative / qualitative data Explore research opportunities and develop proposals Design Research Proposals and Implementation Plan Should involve in corresponding with clients , present the research proposal and negotiate to obtain the research project Correspondence with the stakeholders Develop Questionnaires and other tools to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Undertake and oversee data collection using different research tools , editing of raw data , Undertake literature reviews Responsible for training the field surveyors as per the requirement on conducting research at the field level. Presentation of the data to different groups Prepare clearly written technical and analytical reports. Should involve in the teaching / training assignments of the organization for the stipulated number of hours To coordinate with other divisions of the organization in carrying out designated activities Any other related assignments may be entrusted by the reporting authority Secondary: Develop and implement short term training courses on social research and advocacy Description of Duties / Responsibilities Commensurate to the competence and experience Application
