Job Description

    Ariba Administrator Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented Ariba Administrator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Ariba procurement platform. The Ariba Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful enablement and adoption of Ariba across the organization and within our Suppliers Network. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.Primary ResponsibilitiesTechnical, Functional and Administration knowledge for the following Ariba modules: SLP, Sourcing, Contract Management, Commerce Automation and Supply Chain Collaboration modules.Ability to create workflows, rules, set up master data loads, mappings, define templates, custom reports etc.Work with P2P teams to understand business requirements, explain Ariba configuration. options and implement configuration changes.Experience with Ariba CIG integration with ERP systems (SAP S4/HANA, SAP ECC)Ability to perform unit testing on all system components. Maintain Ariba configuration documentation.Work with the Procurement teams to manage Ariba users & group roles and permission access, approval rules, exception types and control processes.Enable Ariba Target suppliers on ongoing basis bases on strategy defined by leadership.Conduct clarification meetings with suppliers requiring more information to move forward.Update Master Data: Ensure accurate and complete information for each supplier in our Master Data before onboarding.Collaborate with buyers to clarify key points from the procurement side when necessary.Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions to enable end users to effectively utilize the Ariba platform.Analyze and report on Ariba system usage, performance, and compliance to identify areas for improvement and optimization (like supplier compliance).Review Ariba quarterly release information and communicate any impact to the Companys processes.Serve as a subject matter expert on Ariba functionality, providing guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders.Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system stability and performance.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to Ariba and procurement technology.Provide L2 & L3 supportCommunication:Communicate effectively verbally and in writing by adopting appropriate communication style to individuals at all levels of the organization.Share best practices, tools and testing methodologies with other team members, and contribute to departmental projects.Preferred QualificationsGoal-oriented and outgoing with strong interpersonal and teamwork skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop strong and lasting relationships with all levels of management.Proven experience in implementing and supporting Ariba procurement modules, including Sourcing, Contracts, Commerce Automation, Supply Chain Collaboration, and Supplier Management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices is a plus,
