Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • To analyse the concerns in Vehicles for electrical parts like Instrument Cluster, Infotainment System, Body Function Module, Lightening systems, Switches, Horn /Electronics parts like - Sensors, Relays, ECU etc, and drill down to component level concerns.
  • To arrange for containment action for supplier parts to avoid production loss.
  • To visit the supplier for process audit / product audit / system audit and conclude on the root / probable causes and improvement opportunities.
  • To ensure reliability improvement via benchmarking in parts / processes.
  • To act as an enabler for horizontal deployment of the good practises at suppliers.
  • To monitor the dashboards like MRM , CSI , PPM ,Vendor visit action points etc
  • To work in CFT for new product development, witness PTR at supplier end and give inputs in FTG /EOL for zero defect.
  • To analyse the warranty return parts with Supplier and conclude on the causes and action plan
  • Quality System
  • Hands on experience in PPAP and Systematic Problem solving techniques
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 system, TS 16949 etc.
Experience
  • 3 to 4 years in the electrical /electronic parts Quality function in automotive industry.
