Job Description

  • Production Support : Health Check up Diagnostics of MES systems.
  • Call log resolution (MES Shop PLC, MES functionalities, ANDON, etc) Dash board monitoring and Report utlisation for KPI improvement with Shop heads and Plant head.
  • MES Helpdesk service (Report issues) MES Database monitoring & backups in planned schedule.
  • Application software upgradation / Transition in coordination with Development team. Maintain version control of MES PLC programs and synchronise MES version with TFS for updates .
  • (Distribution of received change requests, Status updates) Change Request Analysis & Validation e.g. ANDON, MES Stations, Order Management, Error Proofing, Genealogy, tracking etc HMI/MES PLC/.
  • Net Program Development- Defining the changes needed, tracking and validating the changes before release.
  • Testing of MES functional enhancements in coordination with MES development team. 3> Business & Technology Understand local value drivers of business (eg IUTN or Assembled vehicle) for tuning MES deliverables at site level.
  • Drive and plan execution of Standards for Communication- OPC-UA (I4.0) during network support for shop with Network CoE and Infra team.
  • Maintain comparative data on FDS/FRS and evolving requirements on local pull, and coordinate with Sustenance CoE+Product CoE for driving and planning CRs.
  • Plan local sessions with Key stakeholders and High frequency operators on MES good practices, global changes and M&M .
  • Active participation in gettting CSI. 4> Major Deliverables : Relationship management with Shop heads and Plant heads. Regular meetings with plant head and key stake holders on MES support and loss report
  • PLC Programming in LDR and FBD, STL, or equivalent
  • .Net , Winserver , Oracle or SQL, No SQL, such as Mongo DB.
  • SCADA creen Design testing , Tag mapping.
  • OPC, Data logger, IoT (Kepware suite functionalities).
  • Good understanding of Data frame, logical switching, routing, and high traffic networks, industrial ethernet.
  • Basic understanding of Automotive or Discrete Manufacturing processes. Product and Audit Compliance Security for Data , Network and License , with compliance. Good communication- Written and verbal, including English.
  • Managing local budgets for sustenance, travel, training and enhancements. Understanding Engineering economics, Statistics.
  • Ability to scope out and create document to evolve Business requirements into deliverables. Flexible to travel at multiple locations. Ability to manage and handle multiple locations.
