Job Description

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in managing financial operations and oversee the overall accounting functions of the company.
    • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support tax planning initiatives.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
    • Provide support in monitoring cash flow, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    • Assist in streamlining financial processes and implementing improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
    • Support the Manager in various ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail industry.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in financial analysis and management reporting.
    • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel to analyze and present financial data.
    • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CA) is preferred but not mandatory.
