Job Description

*Preparation of designs, drawings and other project documentation as a member of a multi-disciplinary project team. The role will involve drafting and design services primarily using Autodesk Civil 3D modelling software and collaboration with our Australia and New Zealand team. The project involvement will be focused in water related projects, including water and wastewater pipeline design/drafting, retic sewer, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, irrigation and drainage structures and storages design.Able to customise settings such as labels and long section presentation as per client s requirement.in civil3d.Having knowledge of BIM360 and Navisworks will be advantage.Exposure to digital engineering and Dynamo will be preferable but not essential.The primary focus of the role is to deliver water engineering projects to meet client needs and enhance our ability to win future work. You will work under the direction of project managers, your team leader and lead draftspersons and participate in all phases of project delivery. When required, you will be engaged as Lead Drafter, responsible for co-ordinating drafting teams to deliver projects and at the same time, fostering team values. Operational

Technical
  • Producing clear, accurate and verified engineering deliverables that meet client needs
  • Plays an important role in QA of projects and applies standard QA procedures
  • Assists in the delivery of the BIM strategy for designing water infrastructure

  • Experienced user of Autodesk cad software Autocad and Civil3D, with capability in pipeline design (plan and longitudinal sections), and treatment plant design, ability to develop concept to detailed design.
  • Experienced in general civil drafting related to water/wastewater industry.
  • Experience in reinforced concrete and steelwork detailing for water related projects.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering project delivery and QA processes
  • High level (Proficient) skills in written and verbal communication in English language
  • Ability to build positive relationships within a team environment and with our global team (e.g. India)
  • Strong achievement orientation and commitment to servicing client s needs
