Job Description

We are looking for a Content Manager/Writer who has a passion for digital marketing and an ability to stay on top of the latest trends. He/she will be responsible for creating, and improving content across our business verticals.The role will include writing articles, improving social media interaction, driving engagement, creating content calendars, ideating on creative concepts and campaigns for social media, managing a blog, raising brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.An ideal candidate will take initiative, have creative skills and attention to detail, as well as a strong research capability.The Content Manager/Writer will work closely with the rest of the team to achieve overall digital marketing goals.Responsibilities:Creating original & creative content that drives traffic to a website and social media platforms:Create a blog and social media strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targetsWrite research-based articles that are original and engagingPromote the businesss brand identity via trendy, authentic and creative contentCreate content for webinars or PowerPoint presentationsCreate content for other marketing collateral as and when neededHelping with creating chat scripts for live chat software and auditing chatsResearch Skills- the candidate must be able to understand and analyse white papers and reports, to create summarisations or extract information, for social media, blogs, creatives, and newsletters.Write content for web pages, ebooks, and video scripts as and when requiredAssist with creating content for business pitches as and when requiredProvide concepts and content for infographics, and newslettersManaging online reputation:Create and publish engaging contentWork on weekly/monthly social media editorial calendarsManage online interactions on social media platformsPromote the brands products and services on various social media channelsKnowledge of successful SEO strategies and WordPress/Publishing platforms is an added advantage:Apply latest techniques & tactics to ensure content is well received by search engines and readersStay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to engage with new audiencesConduct keyword research according to the latest keyword research strategiesPublish blog articles on WordPress/Publishing platformsFamiliarity with the YOAST plugin for SEO would be preferredCandidate should have the willingness to learn above-mentioned skills (in case they are not familiar with any of them)Creative concepts and campaigns:Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns across platformsCreate original, witty, on-trend concepts for social media creatives and campaignsCreate professional, research-based, on-brand creatives for social media and campaignsWork with the design team to ensure creatives are based on the brief and lead to online engagementGenerating interesting, unique, and valuable content ideas based on client/brand briefs:Edit/proofread and quality check contentDevelop creative concepts for digital media, including social media creatives (This includes copy for creatives, infographics, and captions for social media)Develop authentic social media campaignsTie-in editorial calendars with trending digital initiatives and campaignsAnalytics & MeasurementReport on key metrics for social media and the blog and other predetermined KPIs on a regular basisMeasure the results of digital marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns (Social media insights/ Google Analytics)Knowledge of which platform is suited to what kinds of contentGeneral Responsibilities:Proactively stay updated with digital marketing trends and newsMeet daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly deadlinesCreate and publish content independentlyCollaborate with design, digital, search and other teams to develop compelling, often unexpected, content plansShare creative ideas and suggest trending and recent topicsThe candidate needs to have an eye for detail and edit content to perfectionEstablish strong relationships across departments and develop an understanding of client needsWork seamlessly with all teams in order to ensure smooth flow of operationsAn analytical mind full of fresh, new, and creative ideas with an understanding of the business sector would be preferredKindly share your resume on imti3385@gmail.com for immediate consideration or call on 9702019211
