Job Description

Customer Service Executive in a shipping Company at Belapur Navi Mumbai.JD for The Role

  • Handling all FCL & LCL shipments .
  • Sharing of planning vessel details to customers & agents.
  • Follow up on cargo is stuffed as per the planning and update to customer on stuffing / loading.
  • Coordination with the Marketing Team, Shipping Companies, Clients & vendors. etc.
  • Space bookings on vessels and monitoring container stuffing & loadings on planned vessel.
  • Taking haz approval and handling haz shipments independently.
  • Keeping track that the BLs is released in time.
  • Making tele calls on daily basis .
  • Attending to issues, complaints from customers regarding delayed shipments, documents and other matter related to shipments.
  • After shipment, ensuring documents are properly checked and sent to the respective dept.
  • Handling nomination cargo on regular basis. Here the coordination starts from the time the nominated cargo enquiry is received till the container reaches the end destination, often inland locations.
  • Overseas co ordinations.
  • Sending quotations.
