Job Description

    Job description :Qualification: BE Civil / MTECH Structural EngineeringRoles And Responsibilities : Estimation, analysis and design of steel structures for warehouses, factory sheds, process buildings using built up sections. Proficiency in using latest design softwares like Staadpro,, MBS, Limcon, etc Knowledge of various Indian and American codes used in steel industry in general, and PEB industry in particular.Basic skill required is ability to make shop drawings from structural GA drawings. Hence, the candidate must have experience ofworking in steel structures. He/ she must be qualified Civil / Structural / Mechanical draftsman ( ITI / diploma / degree ) andshould be able to read GA drawings, develop to the scale layouts, work out dimensions of individual members from Autocad /Tekla / from first principles manually , calculate bolt lengths, BOQ, etc and must have done at least some shop drawings for shedlike structures or other industrial structures . He/ she should be able to show sample of work executed earlier. All this if he is not froma recognized PEB company. Experience in sheeting details will be an added advantage, but most other industries dont do it in detail.Apart from PEB companies , Detailers experienced in such steel detailing are available with
