Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Modify/ Maintain Embedded Linux Kernel for Android and various Linux operating systems.
  • Develop drivers to interface cameras, audio codecs, displays, touch screens and sensors for
  • microprocessor based systems
  • Develop Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) for cameras, displays, fuel gauges, charging circuits etc.
  • Integrate device drivers with Linux/Android Frameworks
  • Resolve defects and support bring up of embedded development boards based on ARM processors
  • Design Unit tests and debugging workflows for embedded systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 4 years of Embedded Systems Design experience in relevant driver/kernel development
  • Bachelors degree or above in Electronics Engineering/Communications Engineering/Software
  • Engineering/Embedded Systems Engineering
  • Strong fundamentals in electronics, communication protocols, software architectures, computer and
  • device architectures
  • Knowledge of Linux Kernels, Bootloaders, Signal Timing Analysis
  • Strong Programming skills and proficient in C Programming
