Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Environmental Impact Assessments Coordinator (Sector 38 & 39)ROLE EIA Coordinator (EC) and Functional Area Expert (FAE)WORK & SITE LOCATION: Mumbai & Mumbai SuburbsSALARY: As per Industry NormsMODE OF INTERVIEW: Initial can be through VC, Final Face to face Round.WORKING PATTERN: Full Time, Mumbai.Following skills are required for the EIA Coordinator position.
    1. Must have handled and coordinated Sector 38 & 39 projects.
    2. He/she shall be solely responsible to handle and execute the EIA studies including baseline data generation and report preparation for the projects.
    3. Responsible for planning & preparation of Prefeasibility Reports, EIA Reports, Site Visits for checking environmental compliance.
    4. Responsible for presenting at EAC / SEACs / DEACs presentations
    5. To interact and coordinate with clients and other consultants & other Experts on technical aspects.
    6. Knowledge & Experience in EIA Legislations & Processes
    7. Any knowledge of Software as applicable like, AERMOD, DHWANI, ALOHA, Google Sketch up, Ecotect & IES-VE, CFD model, E quest/ DOE2.2 etc.
    EDUCATION QULIFICATIONMasters degree in science or suitable degree or diploma or PG in Sciences from an approved university or similar institutions.(M. Tech Environmental Management/ Environmental Science/ Industrial Pollution ControlM.Sc Environmental Science)EXPERIENCENABET-QCI Accredited EIA Co-ordinator for Sector 38 & 39Minimum 5 7 or 7 - 10 years experience in handling 38 & 39 Sector Projects.RESPONSIBILITY
    1. In charge for respective EIA projects.
    2. To analyze and integrate the inputs received from various FAE.
    3. To provide guidance to the Functional Area Experts.
    4. Report compilation & quality check.
    5. Responsible for in-depth knowledge and understanding of the relevant Act and Rules related to their area of expertise.
    6. Anticipate and assess environmental impact of the project for which EIA/EMP study is being conducted.
    7. Analysis and integration of inputs from functional experts.
    8. Development of EIA/EMP reports and Public Consultation Process, documentation & presentations
    9. Responsible for timely and qualitative compilation of collection of primary data & field monitoring by the outsourced NABL/ MoEF&CC accredited Labs.
    10. Interact with clients, arrange presentation and obtain approvals in stages as project progress.
    11. Data Analysis, Compilation and integration of inputs from other empanelled persons and experts.
