Show More Key responsibilitiesAs a Global Spare Parts Lifecycle Manager, you will help reshape and optimize APMT s end to end Spare Parts Supply Chain Management. Reducing financial exposure, maximising equipment operational uptime, and driving competitive Total Cost of Ownership , you can make a tangible difference on how we will operate and serve our customers going forward. Reporting to the Global Warehousing and Inventory Manager, you will enhance and promote best practice in heavy asset, spare parts Inventory Management by ensuring that the right knowledge is obtained and communicated throughout our Terminals Warehouse s, Inventory, Maintenance and Repair teams. In order to achieve this, you will drive Total Cost of Ownership thinking, through developing and delivering appropriate equipment, regional and global inventory stocking plans.At the same time, you will develop an approach for collaboration with supply chain service providers to leverage their capabilities and reduce lead times/service levels for terminals and manage time, cost and materials.Your core responsibilities will entail: Build and maintain (global and local) lifecycle spare parts stocking plans, and EBOM s for major operational equipment types Support APM Terminals network for spare parts stocking optimisation Drive Global OEM warehousing and distribution networks to support designed plans Work closely with OEM s, driving global spare parts visibility and holding optimisation Be the key supporter in driving global master data quality Drive standardisation in spares parts deliverables during equipment design Support spare parts obsolescence programsShow More We are looking forYou have a university degree in Engineering, or equivalent, and significant experience (10+ years) in an asset-heavy industry (non-manufacturing, high capital, non-standardised equipment), working with BOM s, EBOM s and spare parts. You are an expert in inventory strategy execution, inventory planning and stock optimization and you have a good understanding of MRO principles, its processes and requirements and extensive knowledge of spare parts supply constraints and challenges for complex and heavy equipment. The role has a strong analytical, technical component.If you have at least 5 years of international experience working for or with OEM s this would be an advantage. However, having worked in a strong service-oriented environment where a lot of stakeholder management was required will help you to succeed in this role.Being a strong communicator and having great interpersonal skills allow you to influence and engage with all levels of the organization whereby being capable of motivating remote teams in order to achieve success is key. You have a good understanding of operational drivers and human factors and the ability to act on improvements and spread of best practice.Your English communication skills are excellent both in speaking as well as in writing and you have good coaching skills. Your computer skills are strong in standard and preferably in professional programs (i.e. MS Office, EPR/CMMS systems). Furthermore, you have a practical, analytical mindset, knowing your data, and you are highly disciplined: following through on actions and ensuring necessary documentation is in place. You are structured, driven, self-motivating and result orientated having high quality awareness and the ability to work with constant care.
