Lead DevOps Engineer(Embedded)Job Locations IN-Navi MumbaiRequisition ID 2021-59320 Category Research & Development Whats the role MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAssess not-well-defined design requirements and develop a course of solution/action to meet the expectations of all critical stakeholdersConfigure, run, monitor and improve complex CI/CD pipelines to support SW development and processing of location dataApply and extended CI/CD tools and execute end-to-end ownership of your developed software stack, including DevOps and testing aspects.Deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations develop, document and execute process/engineering solution for new/existing processes/solutions/productsEnsure efficient usage of underlying server infrastructure and cloud resourcesEvolve CI and development environments to employ new technologies and changing requirementsSupport engineering and test teams in using the CI environmentsParticipate in architecture and software development activitiesProcess engineering to perform requirements analysis, understanding the business requirement and design and develop optimized and customized solutions for customer. Solution depending on customer can range from design to testing and deploymentBuild, maintain, and monitor configuration standards and develop ways to improve the monitoring and backlogsMaintain day-to-day management and administration of systems by documenting and designing various processes, updating existing processesUse open-source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the projectBrainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery Who are you Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience8+ years of experience primarily focused in DevOps environment and maintaining high transaction production environmentProven experience in DevOps working on large scale CI systemsDecent working knowledge of one or more public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google CloudSolid experience with design and implementation of embedded firmware that meets real-time, low-power, reliability, and security requirements, under hardware resource constraintsGood hands-on experience in DevOps tools like GIT/Stash, Gitlab, Jenkins, JIRAExperience with Linux infrastructures, AWS, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Docker, CI/CD tools, Python, GitLab, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologiesExperience with agile software development in C++, Java, JavaScriptKnowledge of scripting languages or programming (Python, Ruby, Bash) for the automation of CI tasksHands-on experience with integration, bring-up, testing, and debugging of software on hardware platformsPrevious experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operationsUp-to-date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential solutions clearly and confidentlyAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyDeep knowledge either on Linux or QNX, and optionally Android Open-Source Project (AOSP)Excellent collaborative skills as well as confidence in written and spoken EnglishAnalytical approach and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead detailed process analysisHERE is an equal opportunity employer. Watch VideoLEAD DEVOPS ENGINEER would be a part of the Solution Engineering and Maintenance Center of Excellence tasked with evolving and maintaining HERE Automotive SDK and associated backend services; an SDK that offers functionality on various domains: Routing, Rendering, Search, System, Traffic, Guidance used to enable in-car navigation use cases.Will be required to understand evolving business processes, new demand to create efficient end to end process/solution design for customer/data operations which caters to internal and external customers.Responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations develop, document & execute process/engineering solution for new/existing processes/solution/ products as the case may be. Would be contributing to a wide range of services impacting user experience in cars such as routing algorithms, traffic, road sign and hazard updates served as REST and native APIs.
