Lead Manufacturing -SD Oncology (GJFA 3)With 64 manufacturing sites in 26 countries, our aspiration is to become the top manufacturer of innovative and generic medicines in the industry.Position Purpose:Lead Novartis (Sandoz) Technical Operations Oncology Kalwe Site to manufacture and supply high quality and value pharmaceutical products (OSD products) on time, every time, safely and efficiently. Create strategic direction of Oncology Kalwe Site based on overall STO strategy to ensure long-term competitiveness through highly effective cost management. Maximization of productivity and using technology / data & digital innovations to contribute to the overall profitability. Proactively leads changes and transformations (e.g. at organizational and at product portfolio level).To provide leadership to the site operations in the achievement of business results in accordance with product specification making the best use of the resources on time, every time, safely and efficiently to full happiness of our customers in a manner that is efficient, cost.Your key responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Drive People & Culture agenda, Develop talent through an inclusive approach to support a strong succession pipeline. Build organizational culture in line with Novartis Culture aspiration of Curious, Inspired, Unbossed in Manufacturing function. Define and plan all requirements of production with project execution plans and approve the accurate implementation of production requirements. Ensure on time success of product transfers/launches and harmonization projects. Identify and implement specific strategies, best practices and action plans to ensure performance and continuous improvements in line with the global business strategies. Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing & continuous productivity improvement. Drive system and process harmonization in line with global standards, ensure consistent and reliable supply of the products, handle COGS, availability and related budget in line with the target, manage resource allocation (inc. asset) to meet site objectives, contribute to global savings by realizing purchasing synergies and harmonization. Optimize demand requirements between sites and GOCs and/or Site Development & Quality. Ensure that all GxP requirements stated in NTO Quality System and regulatory authorities are fulfilled. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risk areas impacting QualityHSE. Ensure operations in accordance with Novartis policy and HSE regulations. Pro-actively identify and execute on environmental sustainability opportunities Business Continuity. Pro-actively identify risks to business continuity and ensure adequate mitigation plans are in place. Ensure that HSE Management system is implemented and NEM activities carried out according to global requirements. Drive data & digital and new technologies in line with innovation, and foresee opportunities for efficiency and future investments PU Head positions. Execute the growth and profitability of the Company by ensuring safe, quality, compliance, productivity and cost efficiency. Lead operational objectives (HSE, Quality, Supply, Costs and People). Handle prioritization to meet business objectives according to Quality, HSE, GMP and Code of conduct standards. Strong internal influencing to achieve business objectives.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Masters of Pharmacy or equivalent with around 15+ yrs of demonstrated ability in MNC or reputed Pharma companies. (English, Hindi & preferably Marathi). Experience in working in Oncology OSD Plant is must. Experience in People Leadership, Organizational Savvy, Stakeholder Engagement, Managing Change.
