Job Description

SCM activities in all process units and associated support functions such as central Site Logistics, Order Fulfilment, Order Desk, Customs and Foreign Trade. Advises a team to support functions and is responsible for SCM Processes and SCM Performance in line with valid SOP s, HSE and GMP rules. Design & establish a clear and effective Business Process ownership within the organizational unit in line with Novartis Operational Standard for Supply Chain Excellence. Member of Global SCM Platform team and Site Leadership team.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Ensure implementation and maintenance of best practice supply chain standards and processes within and across PU Organizations. Responsible for strategic and tactical analysis in about to product supply and capacities as a basis for Management decisions. Ensure full integration/alignment with Global Platform and Global Supply Chain functions, is the escalation body for second line escalation to countries and within Platform Supply Network and ensure reliable and continuous supply at agreed Service Levels at minimal inventory levels. Equally support all Process Units, SCM and support functions, and join plant Leadership team and Global Platform SCM Leadership team. Implement and maintain NOSSCE best practices across all supply chain processes according to agreed roll out plan and ensure implementation of and compliance with Novartis policies and procedures, strategy and standards. Lead Supply Chain projects to build, implement and continuously improve core processes and standards. Experience in taking care of Foreign Trade authorities and duty draw back. Act as Business Owner of Supply Chain Tools and Systems, nominate local business owners and super users to ensure governance of the processes of the unit and align the related position s key accountabilities with global Supply Chain BPO directions and ensure local business owners contribute to the continuous improvement of the defined Standards providing inputs and actively participating to Global initiatives. Responsible as people manager for personnel Management, resource allocation, hiring, development and retention of assigned staff, targets & objectives setting for the Supply Chain Team members in line with business objectives and KPI s, providing leadership and direction, supporting the associates within Supply Chain Unit and ensuring that they are qualified, achieve a high level of competence, are motivated and that they carry out their duties in a safe and compliant manner.Minimum requirements WHAT YOU LL BRING TO THE ROLE: Minimum 15 to 16 years of experience in reputed Export oriented unit in pharma company. Experience in working in SAP / MM module environment. Should have implemented SAP project in new sites. People Leadership Operations Management and Execution Project Management.
