Job Description

Job Title:Manager Building Information Modelling (BIM)Experience: Minimum 3 years of experienceSalary: Up to 50 KPMLocation: Navi MumbaiThe company works in the field of real estate development and construction, real estate Development Management Consultancy (DMC) wherein the complete works in the area of pre-investment advisory, complete project feasibility analysis including conception, system design, approvals, liaison, value engineering, project management, costing, audit, etc.The company is looking for a person with hands-on experience to take the role of BIM modeling exercise in vertical of (Building Information Modelling) real estate projects of the company in pan-India. He will also assist in establishing an IT infrastructure to serve the function.The incoming person will be reporting to the Head of Architecture and Planning and will be responsible for BIM Modelling. The job description is as follows:

  1. Understanding the requirements of company leadership and transforming it into an executable implementation plan.
  2. Understanding architectural building/building services drawings.
  3. Works directly with and takes direction from project personnel and/or BIM Coordinator
  4. Create a 3D model based off red-lines from either BIM Coordinator or field team
  5. Develops 2D installation drawings and detailed drawings from the 3D model or sketches
  6. Generates general arrangement plans, diagrams, sections, elevations and schedules in Revit based on Schematic / DD / Tender / Contract drawings issued.
  7. Perform ongoing reviews of models and drawings, checking for accuracy and completeness.
  8. Helps set up a project and keep it maintained.
  9. Download and upload files when needed to keep project current
  10. The candidate will oversee the operational aspects of BIM implementation within the company.
  11. He will be supporting the construction, design and planning function with his inputs on quantity estimation, BOQ generation, critical aspects of construction, finalizing the building design with iterations and optimization of cost estimation and design.
Requirements:
  1. Maximum age: 32-33 years.
  2. Qualifications
    1. Engineering graduate/Diploma, Advanced Level drafter/CAD operator and modeler
    2. 3+ years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD regarding 2D drawings
    3. 2+ years of experience using Navisworks Manage and can run clash detection effectively
  3. Experience in real estate, infrastructure, and construction sector is preferable
  4. Taking the first step for problem-solving, go-getter attitude, the penchant to excel the target and good communication skills.
