Job Description

Job Opening for Assistant Manager ITOverall purpose of a job

  1. Assisting the manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
  2. Resolve issues of Production Server & work closely with them to enhance their skills
  3. Should be able to lead a team of 15-16 IT Team in 24 x 7 Environment
Required Skill Set
    1. Strong knowledge on Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, centos).
    2. Responsible for installing and managing multiple RHEL/ Ubuntu/Centos & AWS Linux Servers.
    3. Upgrade and troubleshoot Operating software issues.
    4. Maintenance, patching, security practices for Linux/UnixImplementing & supporting Linux server
    5. Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, centos) administration & support
    6. Strong knowledge on server hardware, SAN, NAS, Virtualization
    7. Budget & Capacity planning of Hardware & Storage.
    8. Good Knowledge of Backup architecture.
    9. Working Knowledge of Datacenter Operations with BCP & DR.
    10. Documentations, maintenances, upgrades & replaces hardware and software systems.
    11. Strong knowledge on Windows server 2008 / 2012 R2.
    12. Knowledge of File Server ACL & Firewall.
    13. Knowledge of DC / ADC / AD / Group Policy.
    14. Should have knowledge of IIS, DNS, DHCP, Mail Server, and Linux.
    15. Completing the tasks / projects assigned on time.
    16. Good communication skills, Team work, ITIL Knowledge, Awareness of IT Process.
    17. Must have strong knowledge of network/router/switches.
    18. Upgrade & document network devices.
Competencies Required:
  1. Must be certified in RHEL, VMWARE, & CCNA
  2. Have worked for assistant Manager / TL for at least 2 years.
  3. Should have Good communication skills
  4. Should be ready to work in rotational shifts
