Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Job opening for Asst. Manager Documentation and logistics in Export Organization- MulundQualification: Graduate with a Minimum 5-6 years experience in Export ImportDiploma / Degree in Export Import Management from a reputed institutionCommanding knowledge in, Foreign Trade policy and procedure.Person should be from Food/F and B/ FMCG/ Manufacturing IndustryJob Responsibilities:1. Responsible for entire logistics and documentation activities2. Scrutinizing Pre-shipment and Post shipment documentation.3. Well-versed in Incoterms / Payment terms.4. Scrutinizing Letter of credit, Preparation of LC documents and submission to the bank. Follow up withbankers for receipt of payment under LC.5. Good knowledge on various ports situated around the globe.6. Well-versed in MEIS / Advance Licence / EPCG Licence / Duty drawback.7. Freight negotiation with forwarders / Shipping line8. Preparation of contracts with transporters/CHA/forwarders/shipping lines/consultants, etc.9. Co-ordinate with factories for smooth and timely shipments to customers.10. Co-ordinate with transporters && CHA for timely movement of containers.11. Co-ordination with CHA and ensure that empty containers move to factory as per schedule andloaded containers are gated in at Customs and connects the vessel12. Co-ordinate with forwarders / liners for freight invoice and timely release of OBL.13. Co-ordinate with Marketing / Documentation team and make sure that copies of shippingdocuments are sent to customer on time along with shipment schedule.14. Co-ordinate with accounts for timely release of freight payment to forwarders / Transporters15. Co-ordinate with bankers and make sure that EBRC are issued on time without delay.16. Co-ordinate with CHA and make sure EP copies are getting reflected in DGFT site without delay.17. Ensure prompt delivery of original shipping documents to customers.18. Preparation/monitoring of weekly MIS statement related to Exports / MEIS Licence/ AdvanceLicence / EPCG Licence and other statements required by management from time to time.19. Ensure timely receipt of various export incentives.20. Keeping track of pending E-BRC/Licenses, etc.21. Liaising with various government authorities Excise, Customs, DGFT, etc. and other statutoryauthorities.22. Tracking estimated time of arrival (ETA) of ships at the port of destination and intermediaryports.23. Keep updated regarding Foreign Trade Policy && other rules && regulations relating to our business.24. Developing && managing the variable and fixed logistics budgets.25. Well-versed in MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced).26.
