Urgent required SAFETY OFFICER in Thermoplastic Pipes MFG German base MNC Company @ Ratnagiri plant. Kindly Find below Company Profile and Job Details : About Company: This Company in German base MNC offers innovative plastic piping systems for water and gas supply in the areas of industry, utilities and building technology. Designation: Safety Officer. Location:Ratnagiri Plant Qualification: Msc / B.E ( Chemical) & Certificate in occupational health and safety. BE+ADIS in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred Experience: Minimum 4 yrs in EHS in chemical MFG Gender: Only Male Salary Range: Up to 5.5 to 6 lacs PA. Good Communication skill Job Responsibilities- Support the development of OHS policies and programs Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.) Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment) Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle workers compensation claims Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics Interested.
