Job Description

Experience 5 to 10 years ( Preferred TAS projects experience )-Job description

  • Installation of DCS Cabinets, Cable Trays, JBs, Flow and other Skids, various automation Instruments. Cable laying and terminations.
  • Commissioning of field Instruments and equipment Transmitters, Batch Controllers, Card Readers, Level Gauges etc. for Terminal Automation system and handing over to IOCL customer.
  • Assigning and Supervision of Site contactor work. Verification of completed site work and contractor running bills.
  • Maintain the DCS & Safety System, Instruments, Equipment, Skids, CCTV, ACS, FD&A in good health at all point of time.
  • Attain the problem resolved. In case required escalate to the Concern authorities, OEM/VENDORS or internal BU Service.
  • Plan, Supervise & Carry out the scheduled Periodic/Preventive Maintenance as per agreed scheduled.
  • Report generation & follow up for the payment with Customer.
  • Updating of SPRs (Site Problem Reports).
  • Materials management and stores on site.Maintain and reconcile the site spares inventory list.
  • Provide training to customer as & when requested.

  • Ensure compliance to safety at site and comply with HSE policy of the company.
  • Ensure that entire work is carried as per safety norms of IOCL & Emerson (EMPI).
  • Ensure site safety training is provided to all site personnel.
  • Regular inspection of PPE used by site personnel and ensuring that they are as per standard requirement.
  • To supervise the work of E/I during actual execution.
  • To assist Site Manager, Engineer & QA/QC Officer for proper project work execution and support their function during their absence.
  • Taking work permits as per IOCL requirement for the work under execution.
