    Industry - Chemicals / Petrochemical / Plastic / RubberCategory - Sales & MarketingJob Type - Permanent Description :- Manage a team of leading sales professionals to drive the growth of the Home & Personal Care Business in the Indian Subcontinent- Lead the curve for making India as a strategic investment centre for the business in the Home & Personal Care SegmentClient Details : The client is a speciality chemicals MNC with a strong presence across 35+ countries with a global turnover of INR 10000 Cr+. With a keen focus on growth, innovation and sustainability, the client has a large portfolio of products with a applications across Home & Personal Care, Home Care, Fragrances, Pharma, and Agro. With India as a key focus geography, the client is looking to grow the Indian markets at a rapid scale.- Compile three year sales plan & cost budgets with the Sales Director. Communicates the plan to relevant teams and ensures it is on target through regular reviews.- To apply broad technical and commercial knowledge within the discipline to give direction to the sales network, to deliver the annual sales plan.- Regular communication with and influencing of relevant sales network and external contacts within the designated market area/country, to manage the business in the assigned market area.- Responsible for maximising sales and gross margin of the business in line with objectives and strategic plan.- Integral part of the process which determines the strategy for the market areas for the next 1-3 years.- Manages the Sales team through carrying out appraisals and identifying training needs.- Manages territory priorities and makes decisions on the appropriate routes to the market. Supports identification of new trends and markets. Provides commercial guidance on product support and new product developments. Expected to improve the efficiency of sales systems and procedures within own discipline.Profile : - Relevant minimum experience of 14-20 years in managing a team across India- Excellent interpersonal and B-2-B selling skills- Strong commercial/sales acumen- Demonstrate an awareness about how digitisation and trends on social media would impact the way we work internally and externally- Possess experience working in a matrix organisation. Ability to gain the support of functional resources across the regional and local entities- Strong experience in the Home & Personal Care ingredients space with a good market connect- Ability to directly work with key accounts, handle escalations, and drive sector growth- Strong leadership skills with a penchant for mentoring and growing team members,
