We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.The primary role :Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently.Delivering Drawings to desired quality standards and according to mutually agreed timelines with the client.Able to communicate in confidence with client or Foreign counterpart.Working in team to deliver projects on time.Attending meetings with technical leads.Substations primary engineering tasks including preparing layouts, elevations, equipment lists, SLDs, undertaking clearance checks and busbar mechanical design., *BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech ElectricalMinimum 5-7 years of experience in protection & control field (Substation experience up to 400kV is desirable)Key Line diagram (Protection SLD)Schematic drawings (Line protection, Transformer Protection, SVC x & Y prot, Capacitor bank prot, BB protection, Breaker Fail schemes etc.)Wiring diagramsPanel General Arrangement & BoQInterface drawingsInterconnection schedulesAssembled formsAC/DC Auxiliary schematicsRelay Setting calculationExperience in Earthing design and modelling using CDEGSExperience in substation design delivery using 3D tools (Revit or AutoCAD Inventor preferred)Working experience on Australia/UK projects is desirableCapable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice.Good communication & IT skills.Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently.Delivering Drawings to desired quality standards and according to mutually agreed timelines with the client.Able to communicate confidently with client or Foreign counterpart.Working in team to deliver projects on time.Attending meetings with project leads/Engineers.Project Management of projects of a size/complexity corresponding to the candidate s experience.Responsible for implementing Jacobs QA procedures and Client QA requirementsMonitoring and reporting of project progress, risks and issuesMicrostation and/ or AutoCADProficiency in MS Outlook, and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)Jacobs.
