Job Description

Job Purpose SummaryOversee and manage the regional operations of the schools photography program in India. Ensure your team captures the best images of students and deliveries the best possible product, persuading parents to buy the Companys products and packages. An Operations Manager must be dependable, flexible and willing to switch from one role to another, when required. He/she must hold a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.General Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Oversee the regional photography operations for DEI Schools photography program
  • Train and develop existing photographers and ensure top service delivery to all clients
  • Input towards a training and implementation program for the schools photography operations
  • Scheduling annual and class photo days in a permissible amount of time
  • Fulfilling and delivering all services contracted by clients, across the region
  • Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records
  • Implement strategies to reduce photography and post-production costs
  • Travel within and outside of India as per business requirements
  • Highly presentable with an excellent written and verbal communication level of English
  • Adheres to Company image and grooming standards at all times whilst on duty
  • Performs any other reasonable tasks as may be requested from time to time
  • Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Achieve overall sales targets given
  • Achieve individual KPI targets
Client Responsibilities and Accountabilities* Visit all schools and nurseries within 2 weeks of receiving an internal brief from the* Confirm the schools expectations for photography* Confirm the schools agreed upon marketing material and ensure delivery prior to shoots* Confirm all potential annual, class and event photography dates for the academic school year* Confirm the number of classes, students and teachers to be photographed* Confirm the proposed schedule and make adjustments if necessary* View the allotted room to shoot pictures, and determine POD allocation* Ensure any specific security or health and safety requirements are met* Be present on all photoshoots to liaise with clients, developing and maintaining relationships* Communicate efficiently with clients via phone calls, emails and instant messaging when required,addressing concerns, putting them at ease, encouraging and directing themProduction Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Oversees the downloading of images from shoots,
  • Managing post-production processing of images, ensuring the highest quality retouching
  • Discuss technical challenges, from cameras, lenses, lightings, computers, software to printing
  • Work with the team to ensure a complaint free post-shoot process is completed within an efficient timeframe as per the client contract
  • Responsible for the proper handling of equipment and repairs
  • Willing to transport staff & equipment in personal vehicle to and from shoots when required
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Graduate
  • University Graduate
  • Photography background preferred
  • Experience shooting both studio and available light portraiture preferred
  • Agency background preferred (managing accounts and deadlines)
  • Experience managing schools photography programs preferred
  • A self-motivated fast learner
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Having a pleasing, positive, outgoing personality
  • Previous experience in a customer and client facing positions
  • An extrovert who does not mind striking up conversations with complete strangers
