SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR Location - Noida Experience - 4 to 10 Years Work from Office Job Responsibilities
    • Responsibilities include providing 24/7 remote support.
    • Managing Backup & Recovery operations & implementation of Backup & Recovery Infrastructure.
    • Providing L2+ level support for Backup and Recovery Related operations.
    • Configuration of different types of backups (File System, Vmware, DB2, Oracle, MSSQL & NDMP) for newly built servers.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and operations procedures related with the backup account and services for Audit purpose.
    • Perform Configuration & upgradation on Backup Server, Media Server/Storage node/VM Proxy and client s servers.
    • Managing the Netbackup catalog and catalog recovery of the master server database.
    • Managing the Server protection and Bootstrap backup in EMC Networker.
    • Managing the Configuration backup and recovery in Veeam Backup & Replication.
    • Configure & schedule the reports & alerts from Netbackup OPS center & EMC DPA for daily reporting.
    • Performing Tape import, verify and duplication operations.
    • Managing the Physical & Virtual Tape Libraries & Media tape operations.
    • Configure the SLPs staging & replication to migrate the data from source to destination.
    • Configure the disk based solution for backups like basic, advanced disk and MSDP Pool.
    • Perform the configuration of Netbackup Vault management operations for offsite operations of media tapes of critical database.
    • Managing the Veeam Database & Configuration from SQL Studio & Veeam.
    • Broad and in-depth knowledge of SAN technologies design, planning, implementation, and maintenance.
    • Experience on troubleshoot and maintain SAN infrastructure performance, hardware, and connectivity.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills ability to get to the root of the problem, assess impact, and develop a resolution plan.
    • Maintain and manage various storage solutions.
    • Ensure integrity of supported environment.
    • Manage and resolve problems identified by sys admins or monitoring software Work with change and problem management tools.
    • Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison.
    • Analyze and resolve escalated problems within SLA.
    • Investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve application recoverability.
    • Provide recommendations to improve the SAN infrastructure, and address/lead critical issues and root cause analysis.
    • Proven record of accomplishment in the implementation and execution of documented support processes and can direct others in same.
    • Skills Required Mandatory Core level expert (Primary) in any each technology( NetApp/IBM/EMC)
    • Good hands on experience in Administration EMC Storage (VNX, VNXe, Unity, Symmetrix (VMAX/AFA), Isilon, RP, AppSync, VPLEX).
    • Good hands on experience in Administration on CISCO, Brocade and FC switches.
    • Good hands on experience in Administration NetApp Storage ( 7-mode and Cdot).
    • Experience with fabric switching solutions, SCSI-fiber bridges, cable management, and other data center storage technologies.
    • Thorough understanding of Data Protection and Disaster Recovery technologies( NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault).
    • Good hands on experience on IBM All Flash Storage(DS 8000 Series, V 7k, 8k Series and SVC).
    • Good troubleshooting experience on Storage Infrastructure.
    • Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Storage Infrastructure.
    • Experience on Cisco, Brocade,
    • Good experience on SAN storage provisioning, LUN mapping, masking and zoning.
    • Good understanding NFS, CIFS, and Fiber Channel protocols.
    • Good experience in supporting and managing the replication.
    • Comfortable in opening cases with NetApp/EMC/IBM and driving them to close.
    • Knowledge on multiple operating systems like windows, Linux and UNIX.
    • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
    • In depth Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management and Change Management processes.
