Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:Supply Chain Planning & Execution:1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives and ensure efficient operations.2. Oversee demand forecasting, inventory management, and material planning.3. Coordinate and manage procurement, production planning, and distribution processes to ensure timely availability of materials and finished products.Vendor Management & Procurement:1. Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.2. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure the best value for the organization.3. Ensure timely procurement of raw materials while maintaining cost control and inventory levels.Inventory Control & Logistics:1. Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and avoid overstocking or stockouts.2. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize shipping, receiving, and storage processes.3. Ensure effective coordination of inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-efficient deliveries.Cost Optimization:1. Implement initiatives to reduce supply chain costs, improve margins, and drive operational efficiency.2. Analyze and improve supply chain processes through continuous improvement techniques like Lean, Six Sigma, etc.Compliance & Risk Management:1. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.2. Monitor supply chain risks (e.g., disruptions, shortages) and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts.Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination:1. Work closely with production, quality, finance, and sales teams to align supply chain operations with business goals.2. Facilitate clear communication between departments to ensure smooth coordination of production schedules and inventory flow.Qualifications and Skills:1. B.tech2. 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.3. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management.4. Proficiency in using supply chain management tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement.7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Competencies:1. Results-oriented with a focus on optimizing supply chain performance.2. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.3. Team-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex supply chain challenges.
