Job Description

    About the RoleWe are looking for Loan Counselors to evaluate, authorize loan applications for our students. Youwill act as a liaison between students & loan servicer and will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner. You should be driven, self-motivated and highly passionate about working in the Ed-tech space while impacting careers via helping students in funding their education through our various loan partners. Youll work closely with top school graduates, ex-McKinsey, BCG, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Byju, Paytm employees to establish, nurture, and grow business across categories & territories.     • Identify and develop strategic relationships with potential students who would require a loan
    • Develop a strong pipeline of new Students through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting
    • Place outbound calls, send letters, and emails to contact delinquent borrowers and advise them of their repayment responsibility and options
    • Receive phone calls from students, answering their questions regarding their loans and repayment options
    • Analyze the financial status of a borrower.
    • Facilitate the ongoing monitoring and analysis of pipeline to review performance & optimize accordingly to ensure that the objectives are being met
    • Maintain strong follow-ups and regular feedback calls
    • Create lead engagement plans and strategies
    • Study the details of each offering and remaining abreast of updates to these offerings.
    • Ensure efficient and effective lead utilization with consistent follow-ups, low Turn-Around-Time and increased connectivity with multiple attempts
    • Build cross-discipline relationships in the organisation, partnering closely with the growth and marketing team, providing feedback and insight
    What you will need
    • Candidates should have a keen interest in education loan and other financial products along with acumen for sales
    • The responsibility can vary from handling revenue responsibilities in different geographies to being individual contributors in driving business
    • Being capable of concept selling and understanding business and customer issues
    • An inherent ability to position, market and sell an idea or product will be a crucial skill set
    • The candidate should be dynamic, determined, persistent and want to be a part of this education revolution!
