Job Description

  • Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- Operations SupportIn this role, you will be responsible for Application Support Operations and maintenance of multiple applications & databases, used by business units and infrastructure teams. You will function as a Support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution.
Responsibilities
  • Your role will function as a Senior Operations Engineer and add additional value to the deliverables
  • You will be expected to be focused on agile methodology of development
  • Participate in some or all activities in SDLC
  • Independently propose and implement strategic/tactical solutions to critical business/technical problems
  • Launch and coach single to multiple team Agile projects
  • Maintain responsibility for analysis of Incident Tickets & Resolution, provide value to Continual Service Improvement Programs
  • Provide recommendations and agile expertise to leadership teams, facilitate realizing Agile values
  • Discussion with client and partners to explain the areas of improvement and remediate recommendations
  • Onshore and offshore discussion with client point of contacts to review quality of deliverables, work papers, audit/ assessment reports
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production problems
  • Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical stake holders locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussions around solution/approach etc
  • Build, release, and configuration management
  • Collaborate with Dev/QA/Release teams to achieve the CI/CD process
  • System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
  • Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
  • Analysis and discovery of application configuration, including infrastructure and run time across client engagements
  • Establish a dialogue with the customer to achieve trusted technical adviser status
  • Identify opportunities and communicate them to PM and/or Technical Lead
  • Identify potential issues preventing the successful delivery of services or solutions and inform the Project Manager appropriately
  • Establish POCs to validate the client solutions
Qualifications Minimum qualifications
  • BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Should have Exp in ITIL Aligned Service Operations
  • Hands on experience in Java, Portlet, Spring MVC, SpringBoot, Ant, Gradle, Websphere, Angular, React JS, jQuery/javaScript, BootStrap, Dockers, Agile/TechOps
  • Good understanding of SDLC lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Shifts: Rotational Shift 24*7 model
  • Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools.
