Job Description

CYBERSECURITY PENTESTER - Home Based Anywherein IndiaAre you an experienced ethical hacker with industry certifications including CREST and OSCP or equivalent Can you plan and perform PEN testing We are looking for penetration testers to join a growing team of consultants in testing customer networks, web apps, and IOS/Android apps. Will be exposed to an ever-changing realm of customer devices and technologies, finding weaknesses and vulnerabilities in products and service that results in a continuous cycle of improvement.TeleworkingDuring the pandemic, most work is being conducted remotely. Consultant should have a home-based office that is fairly insulated (within reason) from distracting noises, with access to stable internet connectivity. Will attend daily collaborative sessions over video and will work with team members by video as well.ExperienceShould have experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, having performed penetration testing across a wide range of systems both internally and externally to simulate the threats that may be faced from attackers. Should be familiar with published vulnerabilities, risk assessments, test patterns, wireless weaknesses, mitigation strategies, and reporting. Experience with several tools will be helpful such as Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro, Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP), Core Impact, or others. Personal Characteristics and Skills

ResponsibilitiesAs a cybersecurity pentester with others on a team, you will:
  • Perform asset discovery and vulnerability scanning.
  • Plan PEN test attack simulations and identify targets.
  • Create internal/external testing plans with defined criteria for pass/fail.
  • Execute tests and populate results with findings, noting noteworthy observations.
  • Work with a team to compile an assessment report with an executive summary and technical summary.
  • Work with a team to present recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop improvements in terms of scripts, tools, techniques to enhance the service.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and customers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree; advanced degree in related field is desirable.
  • 3 to 5 years professional experience in cybersecurity role.
  • Must have cybersecurity pentesting certifications. CREST is essential.
  • Knowledge of pentesting frameworks and methodologies.
  • Previous experience coordinating and running pentesting engagement and proposing corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience writing selenium scripts.
  • Experience writing Python scripts.
  • Exploitation development and depth in vulnerability research.
  • PhD in cybersecurity or related field.
  • At least five years experience in cybersecurity.
  • SC or DV clearance (UK).
  • Experience with regulatory standards, especially ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.
  • Loose understanding of ITIL service management framework could be helpful but not essential.
  • PCI Qualified Security Assessor quite helpful to the company.
