Job Description

    Job Purpose:-As a Digital/IT Financial Strategist, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic Digital/IT budgeting activities, IT cost optimization strategies, and maximizing value from technology investments. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial and commercial aspects of IT, ensuring effective governance and alignment with organizational goals. Your expertise in Digital/IT finance and keen understanding of technology trends will enable you to provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Key Responsibilities :- Strategic IT Budgeting: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage Digital/IT budgets aligned with business objectives. Identify areas for strategic investments/cost optimization and provide recommendations to enhance cost efficiency and resource allocation. Cost Optimization Strategies: Identify opportunities to optimize IT costs without compromising quality and service levels. Conduct analysis and assessment of. IT expenditures, contracts, and vendor relationships to drive cost savings initiatives. Value Realization from Technology Investments: Evaluate and assess the value derived from technology investments based on lifecycle costs and benefits. Develop frameworks to measure the return on investment (ROI) for Digital and IT projects and initiatives. Collaborate with project teams to ensure value realization and sustenance throughout the project lifecycle. IT Finance Governance: Establish and maintain robust governance processes for IT finance, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Provide financial oversight and guidance to IT projects, ensuring budget adherence and effective resource utilization. Commercial Aspects: Manage the commercial aspects of IT, including contract negotiations, vendor management, and license compliance. Drive cost-effective procurement strategies and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors. Preparation of SMART IT & Digital Financial Dashboards and provide key financial insights to enable the IT Functional tower leads and business owners take decisions on IT related investments and optimization. Collaboration with different functions Supporting Monthly Digital and IT Budget vs actual reviews with senior leadership. Providing support in analysing new IT Capex and Opex proposals. Analytical support for Board Meetings and review meetings Supporting in conduct of strategy meetings Follow up on action items discussed during business reviewsExperience: 2-5 years experience in IT Finance and Strategy rolesEducational Qualification: CA/CPA/ MBA Business Analytics/ FinanceFunctional & Behavioral Skills: Proven experience in strategic Digital and IT budgeting, cost optimization, and financial management within an IT environment. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to evaluate technology investments and optimize IT costs. In-depth knowledge of IT financial management frameworks and best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with IT governance and compliance frameworks. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Ability to stay updated with the latest technology trends and their financial implications. Team Player Working under tight timelines Capable of managing multiple time sensitive priorities simultaneously,
