Job Description

    General Purpose Microcontroller Sub-Group (GPM) in STMicroelectronics is world leader on general purpose microcontrollers with the STM32 family.STM32 products address many applications, such as connectivity, artificial intelligence, security, graphics, motor control and more. Constantly innovating, the growing complexity of our STM32 products needs FTSS to be granted with an efficient and very high-quality digital verification through state of the art flows and methodologies.In this context the candidate will be responsible for the digital verification of complex STM32 Digital IPs, granting best in class quality, and specifically working on:- The verification strategy definition and the verification plan, based on the Digital IP specification and microarchitecture and including the coverage model; - The project scheduling, including the risk management; - The verification environment development, the test suite running, debugging and bug reporting; - The coverage analysis and project closure, including the final verification document and the project review;The candidate will work in a multi-site international verification team, so we are looking for people with enthusiasm, constantly curious and creative towards continuous innovation., Expert level is required for:- Team coaching and project management, including development of verification technical skills and technical tutoring.- Constrained-driven verification, uVM methodology and System Verilog Language, including the usage and development of uVCs, simulation and debugging;- Formal verification methodologies and SVA, including the usage of and development of AIP;- Python and TCL/TK scripting languages, object orienting programming languages;- HDL (VHDL/Verilog) languages;- Main EDA verification tools platforms for both simulation and formal verification including APPs and qualification tools;- STM32 Microcontroller architecture;- Digital IPs architecture and verification (memory controllers, communication IPs, timers, A/D interfaces, interrupt controllers, clock controllers, DMA, bus, ARM security infrastructure, .);- ARM Cortex M and ARM AMBA Bus protocols (APB, AHB, AXI); - Fluent in both written and spoken English with good communication skills.
