Job Description

    Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will join the Chandler test team in a bench debug Iab environment. The candidate will work in a team environment with specific responsibilities related to running a test bench consisting of test boards, high speed test equipment, and bench PCs. Additionally the successful candidate will need to understand and work through test plans, make quality measurements, and be able to debug test setup issues. Board Rework - Surface mount soldering. PC board rework. Schematic Board layout knowledge.Inventory management - capital assets (ISMP) Single tracking tool for hardware (capital asset, motherboard, HDD, peripherals, etc.). Capital asset subject to quarterly audit. Shipping and receiving (logistics). Purchase all required supplies for team using Client Shopping Cart. Inventory auditsGeneral Lab Technician Work - Maintenance of lab. Program specific engineering work - aid engineering team in various tasks as needed.System Build and Validation- Assemble and setup test systems.Silicon and component inserting/seating. BIOS flashing and configuration. OS installation/configuration. System debug including Circuit EE Component Troubleshooting. Document BKC with dev team support. General engineering work platform setup, power on, burn in test, first level debug and inspection on board issues. Host PC Build, upgrade, patch, virus scan, etc. Program-specific engineering work - Aid engineering team in various power-on activities for POR programs. Program specific firmware and software updates, patch, and test. Provide concise test results/records to senior engineers.Familiar with Dediprog, Aardvark, and USBBlaster software a plus.The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following
    • Communication skills, specifically interacting with Design and Test Engineers to use high performance measurement equipment, SW, and to understand Technical concepts.
    • Ability to use bench test equipment and follow a test plan to make high precision measurements.
    • Ability to methodically and Logically work through test setup issues and resolve them.
    • Basic solder and board modification skills is a plus.
    • Organizational skills to support Iab structure and day to day maintenance routines as needed.
