Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop original design concepts that meet seasonal trends and brand vision.
    • Create sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications using CAD software or by hand.
    • Select fabrics, colors, and patterns that align with the overall aesthetic and market demands.
    • Oversee the development of prototypes and final products, collaborating with patternmakers and seamstresses.
    • Conduct trend research and market analysis to ensure designs are current and competitive.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and merchandising to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
    • Present design ideas and collections to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into revisions.
    • Attend fittings and ensure that designs meet the desired fit, quality, and production standards.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, attending fashion shows and reviewing fashion publications as necessary.
