FPGA Engineer CPE Team (PCIe, CXL && NVMe Protocol Exerciser &&Analyzer Solutions)Location: [Gurgaon] | Job Type: [On-site] | Experience Level: 7 yearsAbout the Team Digital && Photonics Center of Excellence (DP COE)CLEINT , is globally responsible for the development,manufacturing, and marketing of a leading portfolio of protocol exerciser && analyzersolutions, Oscilloscopes, Bit Error Ratio Testers (BERTs), Arbitrary WaveformGenerators(AWGs), Digitizers, Photonics, and Logic/Protocol analyzers.Our products are at the heart of AI data centers, cloud infrastructure, next-generationcomputing platforms, and emerging technologies such as PCIe Gen6, CXL, and NVMe.Weenable engineering teams across Computing, Semiconductors, Storage, Wireless,Aerospace&& Defense, and AI industries to deliver faster, more reliable designs through deepinsightsand advanced analysis tools.Role OverviewAs an FPGA Engineer on the Customer/Product/Partner Engineering (CPE) team, youwillbe the technical bridge between customers, the core engineering teams, and productsupport operations.You will:- Work on protocol exerciser && analyzer platforms for PCIe, CXL, and NVMe used in AIdata centers and high-performance computing.- Collaborate with core FPGA, hardware, and software teams, including systemarchitects,to investigate and resolve issues.- Handle customer escalations, reproduce and debug FPGA and board-level issues,andprovide quick, effective fixes.- Perform remote debugging, system characterization, and root cause analysis forprotocol and hardware-related failures.- Contribute to product stabilization and revenue-generating feature enhancements.- Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate FPGA design,testbench creation, and verification workflows.- Engage with the Operations/Factory (OF) team when hardware-related issues requirereplacement or repair.Key Responsibilities- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve FPGA, software, and board-level issues for PCIe,CXL,and NVMe protocol exerciser && analyzer products.- Collaborate with core FPGA, hardware, and software engineering teams in Germany,US,India, and Malaysia.- Develop, maintain, and optimize high speed FPGA designs using VHDL or Verilog.- Perform board-level debugging, high-speed interface characterization, and timingclosure.- Use Xilinx Vivado, Chipscope, and simulation tools (Synopsys, Mentor, Cadence,Vivadosimulator) for synthesis, validation, and debug.- Provide customer-facing remote debugging, interpret logs and traces, and deliverquickresolutions.- Implement automated test environments and integrate AI-assisted coding to enhanceproductivity.- Coordinate with the OF team for hardware replacements when required.QualificationsEducation- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or related field)Required Skills- 7 years of FPGA development, debug, or customer support experience in large,complex designs.- Strong knowledge of PCIe, CXL, and NVMe protocols.- Expertise in FPGA debugging, board-level troubleshooting, and signal integrityanalysis.- Experience in characterization of high-speed interfaces.- Ability to operate in a customer-facing escalation role and coordinate across globalteams.Preferred Skills- Experience in AI data center technologies and next-generation computing.- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test && measurementequipment.- Knowledge of C/C, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence,Bitbucket).- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.Why Join Us - Work on the latest PCIe Gen5/Gen6, CXL, and NVMe technologies driving AI datacenters.- Collaborate with top FPGA, hardware, and software engineers across Germany, US,India, and Malaysia.- Be at the front line of customer interaction, delivering solutions that have immediatereal-world impact.- Contribute to product stability, performance, and new feature innovations.- Use AI tools to accelerate development and debugging
