Job Description

*Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. There are 5 primary workstreams in the CoE: Digital, Graphics, Presentations, Video, and UI/UX.The scope of our work primarily includes (but is not limited to):creating persuasive content and communication and converting ideas to compelling storiescontributing to the global marketing strategy and messaging frameworkelevating the visual IQ of our marketing and sales assetsenforcing brand guidelines, templates, standards across the entire bill of materialPOSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a creative expert to join our Graphic workstream to design solutions that meet our product marketing strategies. A design thinker who can transform a marketing challenge with a strategic scalable and futuristic design. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual skills and the ability to deliver independently from idea to the final design solution in a variety of formats. The candidate must be able to partner with marketing teams to introduce new asset types that address the sellers need.This role will require collaborating with different product marketers and industry experts, to produce content used by Oracle sellers or Executives. The position requires excellent English communication skills, both written and oral to work collaboratively within a cross-skilled, globally distributed team. Although a day shift position, the candidate must have the flexibility to work evenings as required. The team operates in a highly collaborative model, taking full advantage of Oracle s global web conferencing capabilities. Acute attention to detail is a must. Thus, quality-oriented individuals with excellent project and time management skills will excel.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESConceptualization and implementation of specialized graphic design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completionCreate/replicate content assets (marketing collaterals) as per templates, prototypes and design specifications based on Oracle brand guidelinesSupervise and mentor junior designer(s) in visualizing and creating concepts, layouts and final artMaintain the quality of designs on-going basis, on-time and with zero errorsCreate layouts and designs of high visibility marketing collaterals, promotional creative pieces, web related grpahics, print ads, campaigns, exhibition graphics, logo & identities, branding solutions and moreAbility to receive constructive feedback from teammates, supervisor(s) and internal clients with an utmost professional mannerCollaborate effectively with development leads, product managers & content production / management team members to create and translate design solutions through a variety of formatsRemain flexible with design changes and creative direction if/when modified by clients, producer or Creative DirectorAdapt and embrace emerging technologies in new media, particularly design tools and technologies to transform generic, text-heavy input into graphically engaging, concise, and interactive experiencesLiason with external agencies on need basis to collaborate on new branding solutions, and specialized strategic projectsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 8-12 years of Design Solutioning experience (candidate can be from IT/ITES or other industries like fashion, media, digital, branding, marketing, advertising etc.)Bachelors / Master s in any of the following or related disciplines - Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, Advertising or Graduate with specialized Diploma in Graphic designExpertise in Basic Design tools is a musto Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator)o Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Knowledge of video, animation and web related tools & technologies will be an added advantageA strong portfolio of work samples demonstrating creative and innovative design solutionsProven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-departmental teamsOTHER CONSIDERATIONSDemonstated knowledge of Design Thinking principles and best practices of visual designStrong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions.Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.Working knowledge of both MAC and PC platformsExceptional English communication and organizational skillsHigh regard for PROCESSES and delivering QUALITY resultsThoroughness and a sharp eye for details; ability to self-QA and QA work of othersAbility to work collaboratively building consensus, working effectively within a cross-skilled, globally distributed teamHigh level of ownership and initiative; ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentMeet or exceed deadlines, without compromising quality or integrity of productAn enthusiast and evangelist for new technology and innovation
