Job Description

    Position Title: Head of EngineeringLocation: NoidaJob description:Our team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our diverse team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.Position Overview:As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our automotive technology division. We are seeking an ideal candidate with a strong educational background in Electrical/Automotive Engineering, particularly in Control Systems. Your primary responsibilities will include leading a team of talented engineers, overseeing projects related to embedded systems, and guiding the development of innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment while ensuring the teams growth and development.
    2. Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of control systems, with proficiency in C, Matlab, and Simulink for model-based programming. Apply your technical expertise to guide and support the team in project development.
    3. Innovation: Drive innovation within the engineering team. Encourage creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking to develop cutting-edge automotive technologies.
    4. Troubleshooting: Possess strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Provide guidance to the team in tackling challenges effectively.
    5. Integration: Demonstrate an understanding of vehicle assembly and mechanical integration, ensuring seamless integration of electrical and control systems into the overall vehicle design.
    6. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
    7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, design, and quality assurance, to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
    8. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and safety of our products.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Automotive Engineering is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
    • Strong background in control systems engineering.
    • Proficiency in C, Matlab, and Simulink for model-based programming.
    • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role.
    • Knowledge of vehicle assembly and mechanical integration is a plus.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a passion for innovation.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of engineers.
