Job Description

    As a Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of incoming materials, calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment, in-process inspections, documentation, final/client inspections, and various aspects of quality control. This role involves managing a team and maintaining records in accordance with ISO standards.What you will do:Conducting incoming inspections of raw materials within one working day of receipt Mentoring and supervising a junior engineer to handle incoming inspections independently Maintaining and updating all records required by ISO standards for the incoming inspection process Performing calibration of all monitoring and measuring equipment Maintaining and updating all records required for calibration Conducting stage-wise in-process inspections to ensure product quality In the event of any issues, discrepancies from design, or quality-related problems, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to the production team Maintaining and updating all records required for in-process inspection Ensuring documentation compliance before and after the Continuous Improvement (CI) process according to the checklist Ensuring compliance with Total Quality Management (TQM) Monthly Review Meetings (MRM) Ensuring proper closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Tracking and reporting the number of Inspection and Test Outcomes (ITO) completed before CI compared to the total number of CIs Ensuring ITO and CI Meeting Minutes (MOM) compliance within 2 days of inspection Analyzing the top 10 Continuous Improvement (CI) points from the previous year and ensuring they are not repeated in the current year Addressing the top 10 customer complaints (CC) and implement measures to prevent their recurrence in the current year Investigating, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for service team-related issues Conducting training sessions on various quality-related topics Organizing training sessions on various Total Quality Management (TQM) concepts Developing training modules for quality and TQM Implementing a stage-wise production approach to enhance product qualityWhat you need to have:Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering) Previous experience in quality control and assurance Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management principles Excellent leadership and mentoring skills Effective communication and documentation skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence
