Job Description

    About the jobKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing development of various types of Packaging for an expanding range of products, sub-products, and SKUs. Manage multiple vendors across the country for procurement of Packaging and Consumables items across different segments. Work very closely with Operations team to ensure smooth running of Packaging and Consumables supply chain. Implementing processes of: Packaging Brief, Specification sheets, Test standards Leverage knowledge of PM vendor base to make the right short term and long-term choices. Expertise in Artworks, design & print reproduction for relevant substrates. Inputting at the stage of design/ artwork development to optimize requirements, costs, and design reproduce-ability. New Vendor Development and facilitating Audits of new & existing vendors to ensure right vendor fit for the requirement. Regular upgrading of the Packaging portfolio. Initiating and managing cost optimization projects. Introducing processes & systems like, SOPs, MIS, formal vendor audits. Analysis and correction of packaging complaints. Formalizing RCA & CAPA processes Establishing standard procedures for packaging tests. Maintain Shade cards system and ensure adherence systems for each SKU. Custodianship of all latest artworks and archival of the artworks without mix-up with previous versions. Liaising with relevant stakeholders: Marketing, Procurement, Production, NPD, etc. Vivid experience of managing an assortment of vendors such as Large-scale vendors, MSMEs, and start-ups. Extensive experience of managing both internal and external stakeholders, without any cognitive bias. Must be very adept at managing sudden peaks of demand and able to feed the supply chain without any disruptions. Manpower management: Appropriate experience in handling teams of various qualifications, gender, and geographical location. It is very important to have a sound understanding of the tech systems. This will help is designing projects with certain requirement of tech capabilities. Inclination towards understanding the processes, in depth, for all end-to-end operations SKILLS: Good Interpersonal Skills Strategic Agility Self-starter, mature person, good communicator, result-oriented, get things done, Can travel frequently Qualification :- Education : Graduate with a professional Degree/Diploma in Packaging from Indian Institute of Packaging or any other reputable Institute Experience :- 6-8 years
