Job Description

Job Description of Manager Die CastingExperience Required: - 15-20 YrsAnnual CTC: - 5-7 LPAQualification: - B.Tech in Mechanical EngineeringLocation- Delhi NCR/ Ready To RelocateThe Die Casting Manager is responsible for directing the Die Casting Department associates in the areas of production, scheduling, safety, maintenance and quality. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 15 years experience of hands-on Die Casting with at least 5-8 Years in managerial capacity.Requirements:-

  • Must have a minimum of 15 to 20 years in a Die Casting manufacturing environment in a management capacity.
  • Must have good and clear spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Publisher/Project) and be able to make report formats and be adept at the use of Excel in maintaining and analyzing quality and production data
  • Must possess good leadership and supervisory skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in an ISO 9001:2015 certified company.
  • Must be able to Demonstrate the ability to perform statistical analysis on pre-production and production data to establish capability indices (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk)
  • Must have Strong analytical and effective interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must have sound knowledge of Die Casting Machine and configuration, operation and maintenance.
  • Must Understand and apply decoupled/scientific die casting techniques in establishing new and existing processes, and general troubleshooting
  • Must have thorough understanding of Die Casting process and Principles.
  • Must Understand relationships/influences/interactions of machine parameters
  • Should know the tools and techniques to identify defects and causes and be good at their application on the job.
  • Should have the specific technical Competencies desirable for managing the department with all types of materials and machines we have.
Responsibilities:-
  • Troubleshoot and adjust die casting parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output
  • Lead a small team of people in execution of daily production tasks, work scheduling, training, maintenance and in continuous improvement
  • Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for customer issues or to initiate continuous improvement
  • Coordinate tooling and equipment availability, repair and maintenance
  • Respond to problems by performing corrective technical or mechanical solutions
  • Implement and manage all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on die casting machines, Dies and anciallary equipments.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors regarding maintenance and repair for machines tooling and equipment.
  • Provide responsible support to the production departments and assembly lines to ensure quality product manufacturing.
  • Provide responsible support for directional production of line stop situations by reducing the risk of failure of casted components.
  • Design fixtures to support the post casting fettling processes to ensure best output components, ensuring Fail-safe fixtures in design and set high standards for product families.
  • Provide training support to operators and helpers
  • Ensure best housekeeping practices and cleanliness within the department and areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain positive employee relations and ensure adherence to Company policies.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and a safe work environment in thedepartment.
