Job Description

    Job descriptionPlanning and Scheduling:
    • Develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demand and company targets.
    • Estimate resource requirements, including raw materials, labor, and machinery.
    • Manage lead times for materials and production processes.
    Production Operations:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
    • Identify and address production bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
    • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
    Team Management:
    • Supervise and motivate a team of production workers.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols on the production floor.
    Cost and Budget Management:
    • Develop and monitor production budgets.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them.
    • Negotiate with suppliers for better pricing on raw materials.
    Communication and Collaboration:
    • Liaise with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and engineering.
    • Report production progress and any challenges to senior management.
    • Maintain clear communication with production staff.
    Knowledge and Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of FMCG manufacturing & Pallets Line processes.
    • Strong knowledge of quality control principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Leadership and team management abilities.
    • Budget management and cost-control skills.
