Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Product Development:
      • Work closely with designers to understand product specifications, fabric selection, colors, and styling.
      • Coordinate with the production team to develop samples and prototypes, ensuring they align with client requirements and market trends.
      • Evaluate sample garments for quality, fit, and adherence to design specifications, providing feedback for necessary adjustments.
    2. Sourcing and Procurement:
      • Identify and liaise with suppliers for sourcing raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
      • Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize production costs and timelines.
      • Monitor quality of materials and production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
    3. Order Management:
      • Receive and review orders from clients, ensuring all details (style, size, color, quantity) are accurately captured.
      • Prepare production sheets and order specifications for internal teams and external suppliers.
      • Track the progress of orders, ensuring deadlines are met and addressing any production or delivery issues that arise.
    4. Production Coordination:
      • Collaborate with production teams to plan manufacturing schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timely execution of orders.
      • Monitor production processes to maintain quality control, ensuring products meet the required standards and specifications.
      • Identify and resolve production issues, such as delays, defects, or supply shortages, working with relevant teams to find effective solutions.
    5. Costing and Budget Management:
      • Calculate production costs, including raw materials, labor, and logistics, to ensure profitability of each product line.
      • Prepare detailed costing sheets for each product, keeping track of expenses and negotiating cost reductions with suppliers as necessary.
    6. Client Communication:
      • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates on order status, and managing expectations.
      • Coordinate with clients for design approvals, sample reviews, and final product shipments, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
    7. Market and Trend Analysis:
      • Stay informed about current market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to make informed decisions about product lines.
      • Provide insights and recommendations to the design and production teams based on market research and sales data.
    8. Logistics and Shipping:
      • Organize logistics for the shipment of finished products, coordinating with freight forwarders and ensuring compliance with export/import regulations.
      • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any logistical issues that may arise.
    9. Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate records of orders, production schedules, material usage, and costing sheets.
      • Prepare and manage documentation related to purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and quality reports.
